The Montreal Expos scored three in the top of the 9th off Mets closes Tug McGraw to win Game Two by a 6-5 score.  Joe Foy's pinch-hit homer in the bottom of the 9th was not enough to turn it around for the Mets.

Tommie Agee hit a grand slam home run with two outs in the top of the 9th to break a 3-3 tie, as the Mets beat the Expos, 7-4.  John Boccabella's HR in the 8th had tied the game.  Ken Boswell (Mets) and Bobby Wine (Expos) had three hits apiece.

Bob Bailey hit two doubles, scoring twice with one RBI, and Rusty Staub added a home run to lead the Expos to a 5-2 win over the Mets.  Tommie Agee had a two-run homer for the only New York runs.

John Bateman homered and drove in three runs and Tom Seaver allowed seven runs on eight hits and four walks, as the Expos defeated the Mets, 7-3.  Tommie Agee and Ken Boswell homered for New York.

The Mets scored nine times in the 6th, 7th and 8th innings, after falling behind 4-3, to beat the Expos by a 12-4 score and force a game 7 in their series.  Five New York batters had more than one hit in the game.  Mack Jones hit a first inning home run for Montreal.
