1977 Season
The 1977 season would have featured two close pennant races. In the AL, the Royals managed 102 wins to edge the Yankees by 2 games. The Orioles, Red Sox, and Rangers were also in the race. But the Yankees won the Championship Series. In the NL, Philadelphia won their first pennant since 1950, with a 101 win season. Unfortunately for them, they had to beat the Dodgers to get to the World Series and couldn't do it. So the 1977 World Series featured the second best team in each league. We will play the Kansas City - Philadelphia series that should have been using Diamond Mind Baseball.
