1980 Season

The 1980 season saw some great pennant races that would have been even better in a combined league.  And this time the third best team in each league made it to the Series.  In the AL, a close race between the Orioles and Yankees would have been a 3-way affair with the Royals, who ultimately made it to the World Series by beating New York in the AL Championship Series.  In the NL, only 3 games separated the top 5 teams.  The Astros beat the Dodgers in a one-game playoff, but couldn't get past the Phillies in the Championship Series.  We will play the Yankees - Astros World Series with Diamond Mind baseball.
