1989 Season
The 1989 season gave us the Bay Bridge World Series that was interrupted by an earthquake. Had the NL's best team, the Cubs, been their World Series representative, Game 3 would have been in Chicago when the quake hit. In the AL, Oakland had to defeat 4th place Toronto to get their trip to the Series. The NL race would have been between the Cubs and the Giants. We'll see how the Cubs would have done against Oakland.
