2003 Season

The Yankees survived an early-September challenge by the Oakland A's to win another AL pennant.  In the NL, a high-powered offense had the Braves up by a big margin most of the summer, but they faltered in the final month and finished with only a half-game lead over the Giants (1 game after a game between the Giants and the Mets was made up).
