How can you tell the difference in 1998 Gold Label Topps Classes?
I’m trying to find out the price of my cards, but I’ve come across a whole bunch of different classes and even colors with this 1998 Gold Label Topps Baseball set when coming across prices. Any help would be appreciated on telling the difference between what color/class.
Reading the back of the card doesn’t help. They are all the same.
This is my best guess from looking at a few pictures of cards (http://www.checkoutmycards.com/Cards/Baseball,=1998+Topps+Gold+Label).
Class 1 has gold lettering on the players name.
Class 2 has chrome or “rainbow” type lettering on the players name.
Class 3 has refractor type lettering on the players name.
The Beckett price guide doesn’t specify the difference.
